Today is my last day as an intern with Humana, and I am filled with a mix of emotions.
I am proud. I’m pleased with the work I have accomplished over the summer and happy with how I have grown, both personally and professionally.

There is one week left in my internship. One week before I leave Louisville. One week until I’m back at home. I am definitely wrapping up the summer on a high note, though. This week has been an absolute whirlwind of activity – and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
Last week, all of the interns had a learning session on developing our personal brands. In the presentation, branding is defined as the “ongoing process of establishing a prescribed image or impression in the minds of others about an individual, group or organizaton.”
Week 9. There are three weeks left of my internship. The past couple have been particularly hectic, as I dig into my project. I present my project (regardless of whether I finish or not) Monday, August 1st. I have just about a week left to interpret, organize, and polish my results. I know it’s possible, but it’s definitely going to require a lot of work.
